Rama VI Remembrance day is traditionally on the nearest Saturday to King Rama VI death day, 24 November. This year we had two sessions, morning and evening. The morning session held the ceremony of remembrance to King Vajiravudh, our Royal Founder, and the evening session was the first time in recent years that we hold a reception for organisations and friends of Samaggi Samagom to raise awareness of Thailand's oldest society in its modern settings.

Held in our beautiful premises at 28 Prince's Gate, the event was a success. Lunch was generously provided to us by Thai Pot, Thai Square, Mango Tree, and Papaya Tree Restaurants. Cocktails and Canapes were exquisitely handcrafted by our own Cordon Bleu chef, Samaggi Housemaster, Mr. Wittawin (Name)! We premiered Samaggi Documentary, and launched our website.

We hope to establish this tradition in years to come, to provide an event where we can reconnect with those who help make Samaggi what it is.
